GiveCamp Hackathon Projects
Overview
GiveCamp is a weekend hackathon where tech volunteers build real solutions for local non-profits. I've participated for multiple years, each time delivering a fully functional WordPress site with custom PHP plugins tailored to the organization's needs — all built from scratch over a single weekend. These projects go live immediately and continue serving the organizations long after the event.
Highlights
- Delivered 3 complete WordPress sites for local non-profits over separate GiveCamp weekends
- Built custom PHP plugins to meet each organization's specific operational needs
- Collaborated with non-profit stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate rapidly
- Shipped production-ready sites within 48-hour hackathon windows
- Ongoing community involvement supporting local organizations through technology
